the ocean pouring over the rocks
skin irregularities
chest, love, life, mates, dog bites

i want to call you and say
take me away from here
make me bleed something real and strong and passionate
make me feel
make this moment more than it is
than it can be alone

i want to
but i don’t

my eyes are burning and i need to sleep
been too long a stretch without it now
gonna need some reserve tomorrow
